“There isn’t a better way to know what’s going on at the track than to be listening to the action on this great little radio. I’ve used the RACEceiver SW 1600 for the past couple of years now and have recently started using the "NEW" TruScan and found it to be the perfect scanner for me. It would be an asset for any local short track race fan or team member! “

Born to race; it’s the only thing he can remember wanting to do. He was born and raised only minutes from “The Track Too Tough Too Tame”, so it would have been hard to not want to race. He’s been around racing his entire life, traveling to local race tracks with his family since he was six-weeks old.
Dange has an excellent working knowledge of a racecar, along with the driving ability to compete with the best. It’s not often that you find that in a driver these days. Dange has taken the old-school approach to racing, working his way from the bottom to the top, learning not only how to drive, but also how to build and maintain his cars along the way.
2006 He received an offer to run a limited schedule in the Hooters Pro Cup series for a southern division team. After qualifying for the Championship, Dange signed on to run for the Hooter Pro Cup Championship with NASCAR Busch team, Mac Hill Motorsports in the #65s Chevy Monte Carlo SS and finish 2 points short of the Rookie of the Year.
In 2007, Hanniford will run the full schedule in the Southern Hooters Pro Cup division and compete in his first NASCAR Busch series race at Richmond on May 4, 2007.

This event will be feature drivers from as far away as New York,
Tennessee, and Virginia. The list of
competitors, especially from Virginia is continuing to grow and the “Virginia
Gang” is coming to battle for the checkered flag and take home the title!
On this past Saturday evening,
Wayne Locklair took the checkered flag in the Palmetto Auto
Auction Charger Series feature.
Mike Caddell was victorious in the John Newsome Action Ford/Mercury
Thunder & Lightning Series.
Leon Vinson won the Stock 4 Cylinder feature, while Russ Turner
Jr. repeated in the “Hair of the Dog” Energy Drink Young Guns. Joey Matthews returned after an extended

VIENNA, WV (October 17, 2007)- Steve
Shaver and the Shaver Motorsports/Cosgrove Racing Team competed at Skyline
Speedway in Stewart, OH this past weekend in a 50-lap $5,000 to win IRS
sanctioned event. Steve would start 12th in the feature and moved
into contention for the win in the closing stages of the feature. Steve would
battle Doug Drown and Rick Aukland in the final laps but came up just a little
short finishing a strong 3rd place in the final run down. "We
had a really good car and had a shot to win and just fell a little short. Maybe
if we had started further to the front we might have had more chances to get
the lead. Overall it was a good run for us", stated Steve.
Steve and the Cosgrove racing
team will travel to KC raceway in Waverly, OH this weekend to compete in the
mega event the Dirt Track World Championship. This year's event will pay a
whopping $50,000 to win and $2,000 to start the feature event this Friday and
Saturday October 19-20th. Over 100 drivers from all across the
country are expected to enter this weekend's event.
Steve Shaver Motorsports and
his race team, Cosgrove Racing, continue to thank their current sponsors,
Drywall Systems Inc, WACO Oil & Gas, United Bank, Lakeview Estates, Malcuit
Racing Engines, Sunoco Race Fuels, Penske Racing Shocks, Hyperco, Bert

FASTRAK Dirt Late Model $50k to win, nights 2 and 3 Oct
17th-20th.
In what has quickly become one of more contested and fan
friendly events in the country, the FASTRAK Grand National Championship is set
for the final two nights of competition.
At the end of night three, a Grand National Champion will
be named and that driver will receive $50,000 in cash not including thousands
of dollars of contingency prizes.
Drivers from across the country will be attending, representing
their particular Region and or FASTRAK weekly sanctioned track. Track owners
and promoters are calling everyday anticipating that possibly one of their
weekly track drivers might become the Grand National Champion for 2007.
“Can you imagine what this would do for our track” said
Green Valley Speedway owner Dennis Harker. “If one of our guys could win that
$50,000, there will be a lot of cars at our track next year, to say the very
least.
Then it becomes very “real” to everyone. FASTRAK has grown
incredibly in a very short period of time and its things like this that
continues to boost its growth. I was happy to have night one at Green Valley
this year. The race was won by 30 inches at the finish like. How often do you
see that this day and time? I sure hope one of our guys brings home the prize”.
Things quickly changed in night one of the Southern and
Mid East Regions as some of the toughest competitors did not make the 24 car
starting field.
For what ever reason they did not make the starting field
in night 1, let’s just say it sure did tighten up the rest of the Championship.
Only 2 days left and it is ALL on the line. All $250,000 up for grabs and
$50,000 to the eventual winner.
Not one team is out of the running yet, as anyone could
have a flat or not qualify well. No one knows what might happen until these two
events are finished. Last years Grand National Champion, Hot Rod LaMance, won
the champion by only 2 points so everything is up in the air as of right now!
Here is how it works.
Night 1 is held in each particular FASTRAK Region around
the country.
Those races are scored by the normal FASTRAK point system
of 35 to win, dropping 1 point per position with non qualifiers earning
themselves 10 points for attempting to qualify.
Teams have raced all year earning points to start the 3
day shoot-out with. Each of the 3 nights is scored by the 35 point system, add
the points they started with (max of 5 and min of 1) and the driver with the
most points, wins it all. $50,000 in cash plus prizes!!!!
Weds night at Mountain Raceway Park , Maryville TN look
for over 80 cars to be there for ‘open practice’ for their shot at the BIG PRIZE. Practice will he held on Weds so
all the fans and teams alike can get a “little taste” of what to expect the
next evening.
Thursday night the event gets underway as the teams from
across the nation compete against each other for the first time all season
long. They have heard about each other, they know each others names, but now
and only now have they ever been one on one in battle.
The format will be ‘fast and furious’ as hot laps will
begin at 5:00 PM with qualifying, heats, consis and the 50 lap main event
following immediately.
The teams will load up afterwards and head to Volunteer
Speedway in Bulls Gap TN for Friday practice and qualifying. Then the heats,
consis and 75 lap “Grand Finale” will follow on Saturday.
At the end of the Saturday nights race, points will be
checked and double checked, then the announcement will be made for the $50,000
FASTRAK Grand National Champion.
Fans will have special treats each night as every heat,
consi and main lap will be ‘double file restarts’ rain under the choose format until the half way
point in each event. Car numbers are called out in order, starting with the
leader. Each competitor chooses low or high in where they restart.
The first 5 or 6 cars may stay in one line if they think
the bottom or top groove is better which could lead to the 7th place driver
moving all the way to the front row to restart.
Fans will also see some of the most “incredible” driver
introductions ever held in dirt racing as they will be announced to the fans in
a very different method.
As the teams take off for the main event, every late model
at the track will participate in the 4 wide salute, making it a possible 20
rows or more of the 4 wide “salute to the fans”.
The fireworks
during that time will be the most phenomenal ever seen in FASTRAK history.
This is an once in a lifetime experience for the fans, as
the Grand National Championship races are moved from track to track each year
making the event even more competitive.
Be sure to be there to experience the FASTRAK GRAND
NATIONALS. Fans are coming from across the country to watch their teams compete
so be there each night as early as possible to ensure great seating

CALLAHAN, FL (October 16, 2007)- Southeast Motorsports would like to
congratulate several customers that had a successful weekend at Golden Isles Speedway
this past weekend. Matt Miller driving the Murrell Mixon Motorsports Team car
during the Southern All Stars East and O'Reilly Southern All Stars sanctioned
events at Golden Isles Speedway picked up a big win and the $10,000 first place
prize money. Matt was a guest driver in the M&M Motorsports Mastersbilt
Chassis #7 entry with Southeast Motorsports shop foreman Ronnie Blair as the
crew chief for the weekend. Matt and the team would pass Billy Moyer, Chris
Madden and 4-time National Champion earl Pearson Jr. to win the 60-lap feature
O'Reilly Southern All Stars sanctioned event this past Saturday.
"I have to thank Murrell Mixon for the opportunity to drive his car
this weekend. I had an off weekend from driving the Larry Moring Motorsports
car and Murrell asked me come down and run his car over the weekend. Ronnie and
the guys at Southeast Motorsports really gave me a great car all weekend and we
had a lot of fun and got the win. I'm looking forward to coming back down and
driving Murrell's car at GIS for the $10,000 to win "Show Down on the
Coast" October 25-27th. Murrell has top notch equipment and Ronnie does a
great job preparing the cars", stated Matt.
Another Southeast Motorsports customer picked up a win Saturday night in
the open wheel modified division at GIS. PJ Wiggins won his 7th feature in the

the 20-lap feature event. "I want to thank everyone at Southeast

can drive anywhere on the track and have tremendous forward bite", stated
PJ. Southeast Motorsports customer Brandon Cameron also had several good runs
in the super late model events this weekend at GIS. Brandon has only run a few
super late model events in his young career but showed his talents by running
in the top ten all weekend against some of the best drivers in the country.

SPARTANBURG, SC (October 9, 2007) - Jeremy Clements may
only be twenty-two years old but his upcoming return to the NASCAR Busch Series
will be the culmination of a long-fought journey. The rising star from nearby
Spartanburg, SC, has not competed at the Lowe's Motor Speedway or NASCAR Busch
Series since 2003 and both driver and his large fan base are excited about this
Friday's "Dollar General 300".
If truth be told, Clements is lucky to be racing at all after a broken
driveline pierced the cockpit of his super late model in July 2004 and severely
damaged his right hand. The tenacious young man fought a long road of
reconstructive surgery and physical therapy and swore to return to the life of
speed that he loved.
Jeremy's return to the ARCA RE/MAX Series came just one year after his injury
and he has continued to excel. Driving his family-owned #3 Chevy, Jeremy has
earned one win (Nashville Superspeedway), six Top-5 finishes and eight Top-10
honors in only eleven series' starts throughout the 2007 season. In fact, the
only times he did not finish inside the Top-10 were events complicated by
mechanical woes. But the stakes are now raised as the Palmetto State native was
recently tapped to drive the #36 McGill Motorsports' ride recently vacated by
Brent Sherman.
"We had a strong season in ARCA and hoped it would attract sponsors or,
better yet, the attention of some NASCAR teams. I have known the McGill's for
awhile and I was thrilled when John asked if I would like to drive for them at
Lowe's," commented Clements. "They have great equipment and I am
looking forward to returning to the Busch Series and hopefully find an
opportunity to stay there. I haven't raced at Lowe's since the track was
repaved so between that and all of the Nextel Cup drivers competing, it will be
a tough show but I hope we can go out there and have a strong, clean run."
Clements' only other Busch Series' start came at the tender age of 19 at Pike's
Peak, where he was the youngest competitor in the field and managed to advance
four positions in a self-funded ride. His two previous starts at his NASCAR
"home track" of Lowe's Motor Speedway both occurred in 2003 with the
ARCA RE/MAX Series. Qualifying for both events was rained out, forcing the team
to start 33rd and 38th respectively, but the talented driver managed an
impressive pair of podium finishes.
John McGill, owner of the privately-owned, veteran No. 36 NASCAR Busch Series'
team had Clements on his radar for quite a while but only recently had an
opportunity to give him a chance to drive for his team.
"We are excited about having Jeremy onboard for this weekend," McGill
noted. "His ARCA RE/MAX Series' record including a win, eight Top-10
finishes and, most recently, a sixth place run at Talladega is very impressive.
I am confident that he will be well prepared and give us his best effort. We
are looking forward to a strong performance by the entire #36 team."
Jeremy Clements will be behind the wheel of the No. 36 McGill Motorsports Chevy
for this Friday's "Dollar General 300" at nearby Lowe's Motor
Speedway and sponsorship opportunities still remain for this event. Pole
qualifying is slotted for 4:05 p.m. EDT and the green flag is scheduled to drop
for the 200-lap event at 8:00 p.m. EDT with live televised coverage on ESPN2.
Pending sponsorship, Clements may return to the ride for additional 2007 events
and a limited twenty-three race schedule next season. Organizations looking to
get on the advertising fast track and join forces with McGill Motorsports and
Jeremy Clements should contact John McGill at (561) 741-6108 or online at http://www.mcgillmotorsports.com . More
information on Jeremy Clements is available at
