Strom Altman Sr. Dominates at Florence Motor Speedway!

Timmonsville, SC(September 3rd, 2010) -- Strom Altman Sr. was the guy that knocked off Averitt Lucas Friday night at the Florence Motor Speedway.  Altman started from the pole and led all forty laps in route to his second victory of the season.  Altman had to deal with Archie Adams Jr. all night long but was able to cross the finish line first.  Lucas had an eventful night when he went off the racetrack in turn three during qualifying.  Lucas came home third.

Brad Dewitt claimed another victory in the Super Stock division besting Reese Tadlock, and William Hutson.  Dewitt started from the pole and never looked back as the twenty five lap event went caution free.

Jarrett Smith and Russ Turner Jr. put on another great show for the fans Friday night that saw Smith take the victory.  Both drivers battled side by side for several laps never making a mistake.  Turner Jr. finished second in another caution free race.

The Florence Motor Speedway is back in action next Friday night with the Limited Late Models, Super Stock, Stock 4 Cylinder, Bombers and Young Guns all running.  FMS will continue to run every week until the Fall Classic in November.
