An individual (who shall remain nameless) recently requested my photography services at Florence Motor Speedway. When I was not able to meet, his deadline he became very upset with me and stated he would remember not to recommend my services in the future. With that stated I felt I must publish this statement so it might be visible to any of you who might be interested in my services as a photographer.

First of all, I do not do photography for a living. I do it for pleasure and to pay any expenses that go into this website and camera equipment, etc. I work more than 60 hours a week to earn my living in the field that I choose.

I do try to accommodate those of you who need and use my services in a timely manner. For those of you who are, understanding and patient enough, I appreciate your accepting this. For those of you who are not, understanding, and are impatient, then you should seek out someone else to fulfill your requirements.

I also do not work for free and will not work on speculation. If you insist on my services be prepared to pay me for my time and labor. Do not expect me to take photos that you might need and then expect just to look at them or have me email you a bunch of free images.

The samples of my work on this website are more than adequate in showing my abilities.

Also for those of you who operate a race team, etc. just remember that you are only one team working on one car, when I am one man doing work for more than just you.

I also have other personal obligations in life that are a lot more important to me than all the photography assignments in the world.

If any of you’d like to discuss this matter in detail I’d be happy to respond as soon as I have the time!

(Jun. 4, 2005) – If you’ve noticed other websites which use information from this website as a source, haven’t been updating their pages with frequent information. It isn’t because they haven’t been because they’ve not been getting the information from this source in a timely manner.

(Feb. 27, 2005) – SCMSRN.com welcomes Steve to contribute as his schedule allows. His inputs will greatly enhance the interest in the website and aide in the growth of providing more information about local racing.
